Lamont Health Care Centre Finance Department has a permanent full-time position within their small team. The ideal candidate will be involved with performing full-cycle accounting functions (payroll, AR, AP,GL and HR) for both the Lamont Health Care Centre and the Lamont County Housing Foundation organizations. The work requires the ability to plan, prioritize and communicate effectively.

The LPN is responsible for the provision of nursing care in accordance with the LPN Scope of Practice to patients and residents. Responsible for providing nursing care as a member of the Nursing Care Team in the Day Surgery setting. The LPN is responsible for the provision of nursing care in accordance with the LPN Scope of Practice to patients and residents. Responsible for providing nursing care as a member of the Nursing Care Team in the Long-Term Care and Acute Care setting. Responsible for performing Resident treatments or therapy as directed by the Rehabilitation Therapy Supervisor including applying a variety of muscle and joint treatments and physical exercises; provides functional skills training; monitors and reports on Resident performance. Perform various clerical duties related to the operation of the department. Must establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all team members and all departments

Responsible for managing the activities and productivity of the Physical and Occupational Therapy Department, ensuring high standards of safe, effective, and efficient care. Work in concert with Nursing Services in order to ensure that the Rehabilitation needs of patients and residents are addressed in a timely manner and in accordance with best practices. Liaises with resident and families regarding specific rehabilitation needs as required/necessary. See attached posting for more information.

Under the direction of the Recreation Therapy Supervisor, the Therapy Attendant will assist residents/clients in a variety of programs that are designed to support the resident’s/client’s orientation, functional ability, social skills, and emotional needs in a safe and supportive environment in accordance with Lamont Health Care Centre’s policies, procedures and standards.
