Responsible for providing nursing care as a member of the Nursing Care Team in the Long Term Care and Acute Care setting. The LPN is responsible for the provision of nursing care in accordance with the LPN Scope of Practice to patients and residents. Must establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all team members and all departments

Responsible for assembling and delivering patient trays, dishwashing, preparation and delivery of nourishments and cleaning of cafeteria and kitchen.

Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and housekeeping functions throughout the Lamont Health Care Centre, using special techniques as required and appropriate. Responsible for operating laundry equipment, sorting, washing, and folding linen and keeping the laundry area clean. Complete these tasks in accordance with defined standards and best practices.

Volunteers play an important role in our hospital, volunteering their talents to assist Residents and Patients with various activities. Some of these activities include: • recreational support • bus outings • reading • directing Patients to various services • walking Residents
